  • Measure K was approved by 71 percent of voters in 2008.

  • McBride, the first high school to open in Long Beach in nearly a generation, was built with Measure K funds.

  • All schools will have campus- wide wi-fi by the fall of 2014.

  • No Measure K Funds can be used on salaries or operational costs.

Busiest Year Yet for Measure K Bond Program

This year is expected to be the busiest yet for the Measure K Bond Program, approved in 2008 by local voters to make available $1.2 billion for school construction and renovation.
