Measure E and K Citizens' Oversight Committee

The Citizens' Oversight Committee is made up seven individuals appointed by the Board of Education. As an independent committee, it is charged with informing the public about Measure K projects, reviewing Measure E and Measure K expenditures, and developing an annual report to the Board of Education on the progress of projects.

The Citizens' Oversight Committee meets up to six times a year and its members are eligible to serve no more than three consecutive two-year terms.

The Governing Board of Long Beach Unified School District is looking for a qualified, interested individual to serve on the Measure K and Measure E School Facilities Bond Citizens' Oversight Committee ("COC") to fill the Parent/PTA representative seat.
